Across the thousand hills
Far beyond my eyes can see
Outstretched stands a condemned man
Says he’s doing this for me
Town folks couldn’t understand
Heard him speak; thought he’s a screw
The blind and the sinner stood approved
Dined he with them, their picture he drew
Who’s he to me? I wondered
His far-flung arms beckoning me
Until now I’d no clue but
I surrender, He’s done this for me
